the sweet aroma of pine and …

Good evening,

Wishing there was a way to have a virtual scratch n sniff (wouldn’t that be cool) so everyone could smell the sweet aroma’ of a strains fresh cut flowers at harvest.

I went in to close up the grow room this evening and found the top cola of one (the best one IMO) of the MTF’s folded over to one side as if dead, from the weight of the cola itself and a badly pinched (creased) stem.

After photographing the damaged area, I reluctantly cut it off just below the crease. I am very bummed. She was the prize sort to speak, a very overly glazed in trichomes throughout much if not the entire plant opposed to the other seedling (her sister) from the same parent.

This second one is displaying much more the classic christmas tree shape which usually or potentially has the ability to turn into 4 foot colas. This one will be no exception.

This first one that the top was removed, after very little trim because every little leaf has been sugar coated during the nights by several fairies. When I stick the portions of the bud (individual colas that make up the main cola spread apart) aganst my nose

Inhaling slowly and deeply, the first thing that hits me is the smell of Pinesol with a hint of an orangy citrus. At first whff it kind of reminded me of turpentine sort of but definitely Pinesol with citrus under tones.

Of the reviews on MTF – its said to have the taste and aroma’ ranging from Pine trees or Pinesol to citrus and even chocolate. So i’m hoping with the distinctive smells of citrusy Pinesol, i’ve come across a very fine piece of genetic engineering.

This is by far the better group of seedlings then the first group (lol as if I had lots, there were only two seeds) that were given to me in my "From a Neighbor" thread, from last year, which are the parents of these seedlings.

Yes thats right kids, 2 female plants that hermied from whatever stress factored in during that run, which gave seed stock .. which then had 6 seeds selected … germed in paper towel, sprouted in FFLW and after a month or so veg here we are today. Not ones hermied yet, i’m not hoping but, I am paying attention.

Have a Great night
