Experiment using flea collar on spider mites

I don’t post much lately but had to pass this along.

I know, I know, it’s hard to get the collars on the little buggers;) Thought I would nip those comments in the bud;)

My dog needed a new collar and I thought I would try and see how the mites would react.
Took a couple of infested leaves and put them under my microscope-yep mites:angry:
Took the collar and put it next to a leaf. After a couple of minutes they were almost gone or running for their lives. Really, I saw one mite running faster than I have ever saw a mite run:lol:
Some just left the leaf and were on the slide but others were dead-dead-dead:D

Anyone else ever try this?

I used Sergeant’s Dual Action flea and tick for larger dogs.
Propoxur 9%
Phenothrin 3%
N-Octyl bicycloheptyne 3%

Anyone want to try a different collar
