Best way to lightproof windows/doors

I am in process of building my growroom, and have two windows to deal with. I was thinking of putting up blinds (closed, obviously), and attaching lightproof curtains, with a layer of 2mm sheet mylar attached to the other side. I have a feeling this will work, but is there an easier, more efficient way to accomplish the light-proofing?

As for light-proofing a door…I really don’t know what the best thing to do would be. I was thinking weatherstripping on the bottom, but what do you guys usually do? The whole room will be open, there will be no separate partitions (except for clones) so the door itself would have to be light-proofed rather than just a part of the room. The door opens inwards into the room.

Thanks guys!
