Day 4-5 from seed, new seedlings starting to grow out their first two leaves. They are very green and i’ve only fed them ph’d(6.0-6.3), filtered water (PUR) so far, will keep doing so for another week, then start them on a light organic nute cycle (General Organics GO Box).
Seeds were planted directly in FFOF soil, 3 6500k CFL’s for veg and 3 flowering CFL’s for later.
Lowryder Grow Box (yeah I know, cheap, but, it works, no light leaks, nice air circulation, just hate that the lights aren’t adjustable – thus the newly ordered PC case).
Don’t ask me how I’m going to handle the light cycles yet with an auto and a non-auto in the same case. 🙂 I’m "hoping" the Lowryder finishes up a few weeks before the VK, and that I can just let the VK fill out the case by itself for a few weeks before harvesting…
But I will start 20/4 lighting once the 2nd set of leaves on the LR #2 come in and grow out a bit, for the rest of its life cycle (typically 8-9 weeks).
Please sub or drop-in and offer advice! I did notice the LR #2’s stem is a bit purple-whitish, but since the leaves are so healthy/green, not too concerned. I am probably over-watering a bit, but have switched to just the spray mist bottle and am watering the top of the soil until they are ready for a full-on run-off watering in about a week.
Does this sound good?
Sorry for crappy pics, I’ll take them out and get better pics next time.
