If You Have No Insurance Do You Have to Pay Upfront For A Physical?

I got hired for a new job, and I’m suppose to start next Monday, the 24th.

This week I need to get a pre-employment physical.

I don’t have insurance or a primary care physician right now, and I’m basically broke, so I’m not sure what to do.

Would most doctor’s make you pay upfront for a physical/bloodwork or would they send you a bill in the mail?

Also, does anybody know how much a physical and TB test would cost, on average?
